Attached is this week's assignment for the Cooking Merit Badge.  Please contact Mrs. Lester or Mr. Herrera with any questions.  Completed work should be turned into them next Sunday, Oct. 6th.

For anyone wanting to complete the Cooking Merit Badge, please printout the attached document and complete the items required to start the merit badge.  Mrs. Lester and Mr. Herrera will be available at troop meetings to help you complete the requirements and also to answer questions.  These first two pages of requirements will be due at the September 29th meeting.

Due to illness, the archery event this weekend is being cancelled.  We will reschedule at a future date that works, once that is known.

Scouts need to wear their troop t-shirts and bring a water bottle, gloves and spades to do weed pulling and landscape work around the church.

On Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 the church is hosting a Ministry Fair.  Our troops (both 4613 and 613) participate as a ministry for the youth of the church.  The times for this fair have been added to the troop calendar.  Please sign up for one of the hours we need help to recruit new members into our troop.  We need 2 youth and 1 adult for each hour shift after the masses on these days.  The Ministry Fair is being held in the Ministry Building.  A map of the church campus is attached so you see where that building is.  We will be in the first room to the right after the lobby.  Scouts should be in dress uniform with neckerchief, shirt tucked in and wear a smile :-)

Reminder that the Rangers patrol has food pantry on August 22nd at 6:00pm.  Also, the adults are signed up for a turn at the Food Pantry on Sept 29th at 6:00pm.  Please RSVP so we know who is able to assist in this service project for the church.
